I know this is an old thread, but I just goopled Thunder in Paradise an it came up. The boat used for the outsdie shots was sold to a Wellcraft dealer in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida back around 1995. I used to work there, CoastMarine, and we took it to boat shows. It was a hard top and no interior other than two seats. Im not sure what happened to it when the dealership went bankrupt in 1998.

We basically built the boat at rabco , the movie producers leased the rabco building from us , my dad was the marine coordinator for the movie and drove the boat in all the scenes with the cover over the cockpit, i was the camera boat driver running next to him , i have a whole photo album of us doing the series. Wellcraft brought us the boat and we manufactured all the crazy shhit all over it. All the cave scens were shot at rabco , the cut a 15 foot whole in the floor...i was an extra in all of the bar scens with carol alt. fun times
