Eliminator pics
Does anyone on this site own a 19 ft eliminator?I would love to see some pics of them, reason I am asking is that I am told my 19ft nordic is very similer. The few eliminators I have seen look taller than my boat. Also, any idea on the weight of the eliminator(outboard model)or even a 19ft nordic(outboard)
Thanks

Do the legendary 19 daytona's run well w/ ob power or are they better suited for big blocks? How much ob power?

I wasn't that impressed, even with a drag on it. Ended up putting that same drag motor on my Ally XR2001 and as you know, thats impressive. Never driven one with a big block in it.

Here is my old 19 Eliminator Daytona. I really regret selling that boat. It ran a little over 95 mph with a 245 hp Merc 2.5 carb motor. Very rarely got beat in that boat. Very stable up to 90 mph and ran fast in pretty big chop. Really handled well too. Turned flat and hard going fast. I had a great time with that boat.

I think they run well with O/B power, but that is a subjective question. STV's, Mirage's, Allisons, etc. ....boats that were specifically designed for outboard power run better than then the Elim 19 which was designed for a jet pump and a big block. My 19' runs around 90-91 MPH with a 240 hp carb bridgeport Merc. It is a damn fun boat.
