This is the only pic i have of the tail actually up. You can see the prop is half out of the water like it's suppose to run.

That is way cool.

you get that center of gravity matched to the prop its a blast

i just started looking into the water droplets under the boat
its like it becomes a hydrogen gas as speed increases
really we are running on this droplets of water and air mixed
ever see a jet buz the water
look at the rosters we got looks almost the same but heaver looking
im really good with a hammer and an anvil bro
but at some point you are going to create more stern lift than you need and up you go

Jeff Young has an outboard hydro with a v6 Evinrude. Go to kdba.net and look at 10 sec and 9 sec classes. Steve Smith had a v6 mercury on a hydro that he built, but he sold it.

Lakeraider, that is a beautiful boat and I know the history on it. It looks like you have a 15" or 20" mid from the picture. Are you going to try running a big gearcase on that boat?
