Just got the lower unit back today, it looks great. You will have no chance unless you get something black on the back of that boat. Good luck on Thursday!!

I really like the restoration pics of your Invader I had a 14ft 4 seater that was a 1968 when I was 21 I had a 115 Merc on it and I was clocked on radar, my bottom carb cut out and I was at 68 mph. I made a platform in the nose and put a 14 gal aluminum fuel cell in the nose as a counter balance weight so it wouldn't skip so much. : ) Great job

Thanks for the compliments. Wow, that is some good speed for a 115! We'll see how she runs with the tanks in the back for now, I might end up putting a fuel cell up front as well. For the top end run I'm going to take out the other seats and use this little 3 gallon tank that I have. It's going to be interesting to see what she will do with a short shaft and with all that rotten wood gone.

The floor is completely in and glassed over. The knees also got blended into the floor and got a final layer of glass, even though they probably didn't need it. Next to come is the deck, then I can finish up the transom and get her ready for paint. Got alot of good pics, let me know what you think!

It was a long a$$ afternoon to say the least. The deck is finally on and in position, after 5 hours of twisting, clamping, pulling, and screwing. The deck needed some persuasion to find its original position. Tomorrow I can go back and glass it together. Here are a few pics of the day!
