Greenwood Lake
This is JC Ringer. Phil Alepa was a good friend of mine. I worked as his Pit Crew for a lot of years. Last year, at about this time, you had a Scream and Fly at the north (New York) end of Greenwood Lake. Will you be having another one here this year? I also live on Greenwood Lake. I have a home on the New Jersey end, and I just had a dock built this past August. I'd like to invite anyone that is interested to our home if you are up this way.

Mike and Rick kind of put that together last year. They may not be as enthusiastic this year since both are boatless It was a fun day.

Greenwood Lake
Thanks for the replies. If anyone would like to organize something, the offer still stands. You're all welcome at our home. I could fire up the grill and cook up some good grub! Most of the boats are off the water now.... including the local law enforcement.

I can't tell you how much thought I've put into getting the Greewood Lake gathering together for this year but it was Rick and Mikes "thing".
Not having the two of them would'nt be the same and Rick was beneficial with the boat ramp and the Sterling Inn. Aside from that, loosing those two would be drastic to the boat count.
....but like Pete said, it was a great day !!(Apricot)

No they aren't lowering the lake yet. They probably will lower it a foot or two for ice expansion. Last year the big draw down had started by November. Still plenty of water! The water's quite calm..... awaiting the outboard invasion of Scream and Fly! Keep me posted! JC Ringer
