check out the thread, in racing history, "bill sirois". there is a b/w pic there. you might contact the miami herald, and try to get in their archives, they probably have some, if they can locate them....... i remember one, on the front page of the sports section, of that boat doing a huge transom stand, jumping a wave in the gulf stream. in original colors, too.

John Connors turbines are for a large yacht / ship not for a smaller boat like that. Try Marine Turbine Technologies in Louisiana.

I am starting to think that turbines are out of the question for now, the original type for this boat are st-6 pratt and whitneys, they are pretty expensive. Unless I can find a set of rebiuldable or run out turbines I probably will stay with the 454's and surface drives. It will still look great with the turbine stacks out the top, but it won't sound like a turbine.
