Ran my 115 vector for the 1st time!

Hey, i ran my 1985 vector for the first time tonight, it is powered by a 1981 johnson 115 v-4. The prop it came with is a very beatup 17 pitch. I'm assuming it is a 13-13.5 inch prop. It ran 44 mph on the GPS at about 6100-6200 rpm's. I didn't mean to turn it that high but i was triming it out and watching the gps, haha. I have a 19 pitch ss prop to try and am going to pick up a 22 pitch raker, what do you think?

    I Tried a 22 pitch raker on my viper with a 1993 115hp evinrude(bubble back).
motor is on a transom jack and prop shaft was 1"below the pad.
It ran mid to high 50's at 5500rpm. I had a 26pitch chopper made by mazco and that prop gets me to 65mph at the same rpm.

Hmm, did you run the chopper with a jack plate then?
