Cowling Mod Question

Does repainting the cowling a different colour from the original design degrade the value of the motor when selling to a marina?

I don't think it matters on a evin rude.
Some people don't like changing the color of a merc. Its like some voodoo thing to do this.
some people don't like color matching engines or other colors than black for merc for whatever reason.
Whether a marina, boat dealer will care I guess depends on whether it looks good, good paint job and whether the package can be impacted by something quite trivial. If they want it original hand em a can of paint.
I say paint it what you want.
