    UK Readers Rides!!

Thought it would be nice for us UK boaters to share some pics of our UK offshore boats with our friends from over the pond

Just bring the point up that pretty much all the UK boats will be a offshore hull type, most of the inland areas have been regulated to death and if they allow power it's normally shut down to 10 knots. There are a few places left but I cant actually think of one right now maybe coniston. you could count them on one maybe 2 hands...... Ah ha but being such a small island the worse case is you never live more than 56 miles from the sea. Hence the trend for this type.
Hopefully the other guys will post some more pics, Burty, Bazza, Bad boy, CB1 ect ect.

Hi Docta. Am I right in thinking you had a 25" leg on a 20" transom and it chine walked? Might sound dumb but I worked in the UK for a while on my way home to NZ and some of the things I saw would make you're toe nails curl. I was up in Preston and a guy brought his boat in for a check up. It was a Fletcher 13-6. with a 20' 65 Evenrude on a 15" transom. The salesman had told the owner that was for beter pull for water skiingWhat a p****. Ever seen 2 V8 300 hp motors on a race boat with just Morse 300 rack and pinion steering. The boat looks good and sometimes I miss the old place, the pubs are great, you must get that beer colder though. The old stuff in a barrel's OK at room temp but not yer largers. Ent down to Devon and Cornwall, what a place, cider there out of the old wooden barrel, blows yer socks off. Nice to see you're rigs. Can't you run on Chasewater any more? Phil
