Wouldn’t you love to have one of these beasts in your garage to look at and take to to Tavares for the antique races. I wonder if Does Switzers have any actual blueprints or plans for these original boats. Fastest things on the straightaway back in the day not so much on the turns.

Unbelievable isn’t it the way the old masters did things. Kids nowadays can’t design a damn thing without CADCAM Three-dimensional 62K computers. And then forget about the bill without anything building it with anything less than a full CNC machine

I did cardboard /balsa 4 point models back in 1968....... Drew a Kg7 6 cly....Kg7. never had a .6 a few years later I bought a mk 75.....loved the smell of the old oil,,,,.......Merc all the way...1967....The Biggest guy in school ripped up my Art of a Mercury .........I hit him in the face......He. Said Dave.... I am going to get ya.......Never did... .....I was sand casting and paper dreamin' back then.......Show my age.....we had reel to reels back then.......had to work with the felt to get the right speed.........Back then ya had to know how it worked.....now ya just call China with ya sob story....Sorry if all the storys don't match year wise...... long time ago.....

I can’t remember if all of Mr. Bill Sirois Raced were called up up and away but I certainly know that the ones that I was around one. One of the best drivers of all timeu

Willabee (Mercury factory team) mentioned in Hot Multi's that he was the one who named Sirois twin outboard Up Up and Away.

I believe that Havasu boat was the only boat that Bill Sirois drove with Up Up and Away painted on it.

I do have a pair of these on the shelf in SUPERSHED—in white —-all wood——never did do the canopy both have the correct. Numbers —-700. and 7000. Made them over ten years ago. Hand carved out of the solid so they are probably number two and three .
i do remember Kenny Kitsons „“EL DIABLO“ was the first i ever attempted .
Couple of years later did i FERNAGLED a pair of REDBIRDS ——one for Gene and the other for Ted.
