Lately when I bought a Carson CVX17 with a 140 OMC I was very impressed with the performance. The 140 goin on the Viper produces a LOT more hp than stock and only weights about 265 lbs. Couldn't walk away from that as I really have wanted a "hot rod". But then again if I saw an XS ya never know! BTW I may have found a 40hp 15" Tiller Merc for my 11' SLT inflatable....look out 200 hp PWCs!!!! Gary
I get it Gary, but you do have a rare opportunity here. I am going to pick up my XS from Canada in January. In the process of my search I found 2 others for sale right now... just saying.

That easily could be Earl Benz or one of the other race drivers on the payroll. Earl took Dad to 120mph although he was not supposed to exceed 90 with a dealer on board.

Well Dad is now a sprite of just 84 boating seasons. A true treasure to be with. I found his Dealer Conference Member bracelet. I will get it cleaned up and put up a post. No news of old Dealers? It was a hey day for sure. Cheers.

Skiing in blue lagoon boy that goes back to Ways to old Miami. We had an old Thunderbird boat with a I believe it was a 28 hp Evinrude back in the early 60s and used to go up in there to ski. Learn to ski at Lake Roy in Winterhaven which was on the chain of lakes they connected to I believe it’s Lake Eloise the cypress Gardens was on at the time. Had some of the most beautiful girls in the world and in the old fashion hoopskirt costumes. But the water ski show was outstanding

I have to agree it was Skyway Marine not skyward just my memory was a little bit shaky like the rest of me on 79th St. in Little River right near the El Toro bar which My uncle Andy used to own. My dad kept the prowler there for a few years back in the day.
