Dockbuster owners manual. The most beautiful photograph of any owners manual. Does anyone know the location?

Looks a little like Grand Lake Colorado, but after looking at some other pictures, the hook of the marina doesn't seem right. -Steve

If it was little less sunny, I'd say it looks like Loch-Ness. J/K Later, Dave

I think it may be Lake Chelan in Washington State.
The lake is in the Cascade mountains.Charlie

Hey Guys, I happened to look in the inside front cover of the above manual and it provided the location. Charlie, you are the closest, but no cigar!
Here's the back cover.

1989-90...Lake Lyman, South Carolina. I think it was Saturday, during qualifying. I had made my pass and was sitting in the designated holding area past the finish line. I was sitting in The Sting talking to a friend in an inboard hydro. There were about five of us sitting there waiting for the last boat to make its pass so we could all go back to the out ramp. My buddy was sitting on the deck of his boat and had the habit of putting his lifeline race jacket standing up in his seat. So the last boat to run was Karl Petrick in a top alcohol hydro, a 200 mph boat. We watched as Karl made his pass, and his path was at an angle, and even though he passed the finish line inside the marker, his angle carried him outside of the course into the shutdown area. If this wasn't bad enough, it seemed he stayed in the throttle just a second too long past the finish line. At 200 mph, that second is a long time. We saw him coming toward us with the throttle off, but still traveling over 150 mph. Several of the guys that had their jackets off dove for safety as the boat entered our area. Karl ran straight over the deck of one hydro, that luckily, the driver had dived in. I still had my lifeline on and chose to stay with my boat and was missed. When the guys that dove in, surfaced and looked at my friend's lifeline standing in his seat, they thought that he had been decapitated! Actually no one was injured in this accident, but take a close look at where the freewheeling prop of Petrick's cut out the deck of this hydro.

Another cool owners guide. 1959 Mark 75A on a Crosby "Sweptfin". The Crosby brochure states, "Fins run parallel with the line of thrust for stability at high speed." ....OooooKaaaay...Big fins, room for three, color coordinated rig.
