Check out my new Custom Inline 6 Decals

Well, I finally my custom decals put on my motor. I just love the look of the 1500XS but my 1982 115 surely isn't an XS so I had the same look made for my 115. They really came out nice I love the retro look. The boat is a 1996 Stingray, it has red in the color scheme for the interior and the pinstriping. I think the vintage MERC on the back looks awesome. Let me know what you think.

they look sweet but I think that it needs something above and below the red on the sides to make the red POP but the paint on that thing looks better than new!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking about putting a thinner chrome stripe above and below the red to do just that....you read my mind. The paint on that motor is origianl except the cowl wrap and the lower horseshoe. Believe it or not, I sprayed that with Phantom Black Merc paint out of a spray can. It is all in the prep work I guess, you wouldn't believe that it didn't get sprayed from a gun. I am really happy with how it came out.

Looks good for sure. I just got my inline running and they are a great motor. It does look like gun painting. Rick

    XS Striping

I think its the red. The red inline stripes just always looked the best on the black engines. Nice job!
