Thumbs up ** The Official V-King/Vector Thread - Post Photos and Details About Yours! **

Here it is, the official V-King/Vector thread. Those boats are what I consider one of the most unique classic 'muscle boats' of all time. Nothing looks like them, and just about every hull is has its own personality.

So, post photos and details of your boat!

    Greg

Okay, I'll kick start this thread. Here's my X-Stream V-King. Never titled, only been used three very short times. Absolutely the best of everything. Bob Garone from Marine 2000 rigged the gauges - he had the honor of drilling the bare dash for the first time. Progression performed the rest of the rigging with their usual amazing and flawless attention to detail and fabricated the custom interior (that replaced the existing new interior). Boat is all composite including Baltek Decolite panels, transom is completely boxed in horizontally and laterally from the inside. The photo was taken prior to the installation of the Livorsi GPS and Isotta steering wheel with wireless trim. In-Control shifter and foot throttle.

Greg, like I have said before, you Vking is just an incredable machine, clean looking and well built. The set up from nose to tail is perfect and I like the fact that the gauges stand alone in the dash and you don't have the backing plate behind them like the older Streams.

I bought my Vking from a guy in Maine and completly stripped it down when I got it. The floor was replaced and came out much better than it was before. The transom was like new but added strength was put in while the floor was being done. The interior is original and suprisingly still in great shape. After completly rewiring everything to eliminate the factory mess I installed everything new..gauges, wheel etc. The boat has also been re-gelled to a like new finish (get alot of compliments on that). I added the Merc from my Ventura II I used to have and redid the cowl decals to match the boat. The motor is stock with only drilled exhaust and all the go fast goodies to keep it safe at high speeds, solid mounts, Bobs lower and so on. I've done more cleanup work to it over the winter and have a new trailer on order at the moment. I'll be running at the Romp in two weeks and looking forward to that. Maybe someone can get some real pics of the boat instead of these cheesy ones I have. "sorry for that".
