    Allison Question

For those Allison guys, How fast will a Grandsport run with a 225xs run? And has anyone put a 300x on one?

here is some talk of a xr

even though this thread has nothing to do with a GS with a 300x
why would you want one on an allison anyways?

i dont think it would take much to hit 100 with a 260

It would run pretty good and I 'm possitive it would handle a 300 the GS is wider than the rest and longer.

A 225 P-max will run between 95 & 100, so I would think at least low to mid 90's with an 225xs. There was a guy on here awhile back that rigged a 300X on a GS and he claimed well over a 100. There is a handful of guys that have put the 3.0 liters on the 2003 bass boats and have had good results.

The Gs hull is good to about 105-106mph tops! Good luck after that! The hull was made to fly with small hp.

    95MPH 225hp
101-105MPH 260-300hp These number are with a GREAT!!! set up!
