hey there AnthonySS
Nice truck! Looks to be in great shape! Don't they use Salt on the roads up there in the winter???
Hey, how does that Dynomax muffler sound? <More of a deep, rumble I am building a system, Hedman Stainless Headers, equal length, stainless 2 1/2" pipe, and maybe DynoMax mufflers, NO CONVERTER< screw emissions! hahaha, uhh,m shhh!!!! Gonna have the pipes exit right behind the step bars on both sides, right at the back of the cab, should be slick!
I like that commet about the guy in the pic! hahaha Some reason, I believe thats you, giving the whole Guitar bit! hahaha
By the way, that was a sweet Guitar you posted !!!!!

Here is my 1989 Z71 which I just sold 3"Magnaflow dual exhaust and 285 BFG's. Got a dog and both the dog and Wife couldn't fit in the truck at the same time so unfortunately the truck had to go. Hope to get a ZR2 Highrider xtended cab within the next year!

Tony,
Yes they do use Road Salt here...The side shown in the pics isthe good side. Curb Side has a few holes in the lower rocker below rear quarter window. That were they all rust.
Also getting some paint bubbling at tops of rear fender well at trim rings...Again this is a typical corrosion area on these trucks...cant' complain for the age of it! If you look real close on passenger side you can see some corrioson starting again at rear quarter rocker
I just had a quote to get that work done...so should look new again...soon.
The Dynomax tone is not much different then stock. However they do get louder over age...Not that much more. I like the system and it is barely noticeable at Highway speeds. I appreciate that over long hauls!
THANKS for the positive comment on the guitar too!!
YEAH...I might know the guy in the pics
BRENT...YES I remember your truck ..it was nice too!!

Hey Anthony..........
Yea, I hear ya there with the Rockerpanels, mine are shot, have to fill em' in again, i use that Marine jelly fiberglass resin, worked pretty well.. Too lazy to do the new ones and weld em' in! lol..
My fenders surprisingly have yet to form rust on them?!?! Who knows..
Well, take it easy,

Boaterbum,
Try bonding on the replacement rocker panels. I did it on my Z71 cab corners before I sold the truck. It was a lot easier than welding! There are quite a few different brands of metal bonding adhesives available. I will be doing the same on the rear quarters on my 5.0 Mustang in the near future.1996 Allison GSE /200XS

Boy y'all have some sharp rides! Cool bumper, Tony!
'95 Dodge Ram 2500 4X4, PST performance torque plate, 36" glass pack muffler, K&N air filter, posi rear, big winch bumper w/ a 10,000# Warn winch. Over 217,000 hard miles. I work out of it.
Cannot say it is perfect, but it only left me stranded once, my fault trying to make it to the house...
Still gets over 20 mph with the dog house on it! I take it off during the summer. Just got new scrims for it!Last edited by FCnLa; 05-11-2002 at 01:55 AM.
