    land and sea jackplate

I've got one and it is still working fine. However, one of the studs has gotten too buggered up to use. It's odd in that it is 9/16" where it screws into the plate, and is then turned down to 1/2" where it goes through the motor bracket.Does anyone know where one can be obtained?ARP bolts wants 80-90$ apeice to make 'em.Ouch!I've thought about drilling the motor bracket(just the top two holes)to 9/16 and using a straight 9/16 stud. Was hoping someone might have an idea where to get them before I go that route. Thanks

    Land and Sea Parts

Did you try Land N Sea?

    http://www.land-and-sea.com/

They also seem to have a forum too that may be of assistance.

I was able to get a set of the nylon slides from Land & Sea just a couple of years ago. The studs are special, yes.

you could always weld in 1/2" studs and forget about the 9/16th all together..

the 9/16ths boss in the plate adds ZERO strength over the 1/2" stud it houses.. the stud will break first so nothing in terms of strength will be lost... provided its done right........ fill in hole with weld, and re drill.... install stud... weld over... destress area......

On the opening page, look to the left side and hit "support".Scroll down to and click on "marine performance accessories".Then scroll down to "het jack plate".There you will see where to get the owner's manual. The part # for the 4" studs is 376-522(the ones I needed) and the 5" studs part#is 376-526.
