New bike - GSX-R 600, GSX-R 750, or Yamaha R6
Well, I just sold my Suzuki GSX-R750, and I already have the bug for a new bike. I've always been partial to Suzuki, so I was looking at the GSX-R 600 and 750. But, the Yamaha R6 has me curious too. I'm pretty sure it will be the Suzuki though, always liked 'em.
Frank Mole, I know you have some input on this

Those are awesome, but it's too much bike for me. I've taken a 750 on the track several times and my skill level isn't even up to that yet. Most guys say, "Dude, why didn't you get the 1100?" I'd love to see those talkers actually ride on a real track instead of straight-line, light-to-light that I see them do on the street. Please. LOL!

The R6 is a consideration. I have to ride one first to see. I wasn't crazy about the head tube angle on the older ones, so if hasn't changed, I may not get it. I haven't looked into the frame geometry yet.

I got 900 (special 900… ) and I love new liter bikes, but 750 is more than enough, and if you know what you doing on the track 1000 will have difficulty keeping up with you unless it’s highly skilled professional riding 1000.
So I say go for 750, 600’s just have no torque.

Most of todays bike are beyond the capabilitys of the average rider . I would try and ride the ones your thinking of ,and go with which ever fits you best . If it not comfortable ,you will not ride it . That's why I ride a 1200 Bandit , I'm fat and don't fit the others . Rich Martin 018

I haven't been on the newer GSX-R 600 but the older ones were too cramped for me and I'm about 6'1" +/- I would definitely ride all of them before buying. I'm with oldschoolltv, don't forget about the Honda. I had a CBR600 F2, and at the time it was the fastest of the major four (Suz, Yam, Kaw, & Honda) and the best all around 600.

Hey Greg,
A friend of mine has a PERFECT 2006 GSXR 600 with 912 miles on it that he has to sell. I think he wants around $6500.00 for it. P.M. me or call me if you are interested. It is black and grey and like I said, pretty much brand new. Later, Dave

I would go with the 750.....As far as a killer 750 i would try to find a R7 Yamaha very rare and very cool...
