to paint or powder coat
I have an older 12 JA berkeley jet that I just pulled out of my beisenmeier jet boat. It has been painted black over the origianl white and looks bad. I an in the process of rebuilding the motor so I have a couple weeks to get the jet done. Anyone have experience with this jet?
Paint or powdercoat? I have a media blaster I can remove the old stuff with - - any thougths or opinions from anyone?
Thanks for the help!

Remove the black stuff, the white and green primer is tough as nails. If you stripp it all the way down, you may be suprised as, to what you find under it all. The Berkeley castings were quite rough, with lots of pits and pockets. A good automotive urethane will hold up well.
