    Econo BEater Question '01 neon

Looked at an '01 Dodge Neon tonight.

ES, stick, 64,000 miles. New tires. CD, Cassette, Air, power windows and locks, cruise.

Thoughts on worth and also reliability?

    Thanks,

    Used Car Buying Management.

Have an 02 PT, same thing different body ya know. Fan went out at 50k, goes through breaks-a little heavier. Check out kelly bue book. have the trany checked out first. We did the PT in the spring and it was fine, but I guess that trany has been around for a long time, back in the 80's in the 600 model. Other than the fan and breaks thats about it. But I'm sure you can find others that say they are junk. They make a nice track car as well. Saw one a few years ago come in secound to a honda at he Mid Ohio SCCA Run Off's. Besides the engine goes find a turbo. Oh but gas milage sucks, about 20 on this thing, peon should be better with the stick. Yes Peon.lololo

it is and thats why i keep it. you can run it wide open 90 and up and still get over 25mpg out of it. it only has a ten gallon tank so i generally get 270 miles before i go to fill it up. i have had it for a year and never put 10 gallons in it at once....benji

I passed on the car, upon further inspection the car had been in an accident. Both front fenders, the hood, many of the supports for them were reused, etc. car had been hit pretty good and they went the half assed method to fix it.
