Land and Sea dyno stats that they posted are fairly accurate but you have to keep in mind that they were run with open exhaust and no driveline and they were rated at the crank not the prop. 10% is about the difference between their crank numbers and actual prop shaft numbers.
Land and Sea wasn't able to extract near the power out of these motors like Al Stoker and Monty can for OMCs and Diamond and Jay can for the Mercs. They did have some cool projects though.

I was just yankin the chain. LOL anyway, I agree on the turbo numbers but most of their stock dyno stuff was on the money. It fits with majority opinions of what these motors made.
I sent you a PM Gary. By the way, when are you ever going to get over this way again? You'll have a great time helping me defend the white motor from the likes of 1bad and Greg at the Outback.

Garbrecht was setting up Second Effort and got lucky that OMC heard about it early on and OMC pumped a lot of money into Second Effort and made it the official factory subcontractor making all the racing stuff.

I met Les down in Lake Hamilton. Wasn't he the guy behind the Mach prop side of the business? They had a nice set-up.

Keith, Bobby Pazos Sr has a 25' Action w/twin fire breathing 8's on it.
Has been through several versions of HP's but was running close to 100 in its prime.

Hey Dave/Bobby Jr. I heard 102mph in it's prime.
Gary, thanks, I am aware of the boat. I actually tried talking him into selling it to me before I bought my Scarab, to no avail. I would still be interested in the motors if he ever did the sane thing and put 6's back on it.Keith-

When Jack bought this boat it had white 225's and then he went to Lake Hamilton prop testing, liked these and got a pair. About 240hp,light cowl,os exhaust with low water pic ups.Good for a few more mph's.If I remember they were about 15 k.Was a sweet rig in 1989.
