Did away with the 2 6 gallon metal gas tanks and opted for a 13 gallon.

Well after the 1971 Rude kicked the bucket I had to do something for power. I found out the hull was rated for 150 HP and found a donor boat so now it has a 2011 Mercury OptiMax 150, Hydraulic Steering, Mercury Smart Craft Monitor, all new controls and I forget what else.

Currently playing with 4 Blade MI Wheel Props and what a difference that has made it both performance, drivablity and speed.

Next is a MI Wheel Apollo 22P

Then a 23P MI Wheel Ballistic and a jack plate.

    Love Michigan Wheel

I run their SS outboard props when I can find nice used ones for a price. Don't have a boat sorted out well enough to go for a new one yet ...
