    Newby

Alright folks, A newbie is here in search of knowledge. I have recently purchased a 1978 kachina jet boat. I have re-wired and re-carpeted it. I am currently running a 454 with numerous horsepower upgrades. My question for any of you is the jet. It is running a berkley jet of some sort I don't know enough to specify more about it, but I know I want to get as much power out of it as I can. What is the standard place to start with that? One other Q. My clear coat if pealing. How can I save it because I love the paint job it has. Every paint shop I go to won't touch it.

Will get you some pics soon. Horsepower is looking somewhere between 450 and 500. probably closer to 450. As for the pump all I know is berkley. It looks all polished alluminum. I have no idea about the impeller. I will try to post some pics this evening. Thanks for the reply
