Used to see them run on Lake Winnebago back in the day, and there's nothing I've ever heard that sounds as awesome as the high-pitched whine, especially when they break free for a moment and wind way up!

    Boats today are too quiet, but I was a kid from the 70's growing up around hp outboards and inboards. Thanks for keeping the memory alive with threads like this one!
