Post Pics of your Mercury Inline 6 Tower of Power...Please
Hey guys, I am wanting to put a slide show together for my computer of Mercury inline 6 motors. I know there are lots of inline fans on here and wanted to ask if you would be kind enough to post some pics of your motor. It doesn't matter what year or HP it is, I want as many as possible and hopefully I can cover the sprectrum to cover all the years. Thanks guys!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

How did the exhaust sound after the snout addition?

It gave it a little more crackly sound, but still nothing like the rasp of a V6 with opened exhaust. It Made a big difference with acceleration coming up onto plane though in both power and sound.

Bruster, thanks for posting that. This is a compliment for you....I have had that picture as my wallpaper on my laptop for a few months. I copied it from the "everyone loves a 1500xs" thread. If you could post a few more of that motor I would appreciate it.
Are those the original decals??

I'll see if I can find you a new wallpaper. Everything is original, the boat and motor spent it's whole life in the garage, only coming out to play a couple times a year.
Crazy's is original too. just very well kept.Bruster's Mercury solid motor mounts, details here:
