nope. the head is very similar to the ones on the 06 zo6, except the zo6 has CNC heads, and these are "as-cast"

the "blue devil" "zo7" "stingray" "whatever the hell they are going to call it" 650hp supercharged vette will have DOHC and VVT with 4 valves per cylinder, engine similar to the current "V" series supercharged caddys. I lucked out a couple months ago and got a ride in an sts-V, 470hp (4.4L i believe) dohc supercharged engine, and it was pretty sick. the bottom end torque was unbelieveable and it never stopped pulling all the way to the 6600 limiter. not to mention the sound IMO was the best sounding engine since the LT5 in the ZR1.

This may be a little more difficult than I was expecting. I loked at my first used one tonight, an 05 with 13,000 miles 6 speed. Best price 38,995. I will start looking at new ones. That 100,000 warranty looks real good. It has to be worth a few thousand dollars for the extra warranty and not to get a car that has not had the piss run out of it.

Another model I considered was the 03 anniversary car. If there's such a thing as a "pretty" Corvette, that was it. Dark red, almost a raspberry color. Light tan guts. And the optional alloy wheels that had a slight gold tint to them. Are you going for coupe or ragtop????

a coupe 6 speed only. I think I seen the most expensive 05 ever. New car dealer north of me has an 05 coupe and they are asking 47,000 for it. I see a mess of them for sale but looks like all crazy prices.

    I found a car

Not quite a C-6 and not quite a C-5. Stupidity must have struck, I ended up buying a 1970 Convertible 4-Speed car.

And what is stupid about that?

We have a guy in Morgantan that is a big dealer for C-3 Corvette parts.

Just watch out for that high speed bump steering.

I sold my 1969 convertable, 350, 350 hp, no p/s, no p/b, no air. Bare bones and loved it. I regret selling it to this day. What color, Charlie.
P.S. If it does need paint or any type of body work.....PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE ELSE DO IT!!! Ha Ha, Later, Dave

    Charlie,
I really think we need you to go to an eye doctor. First, you brought that red boat to the Rumble a few years ago and thought it had great paint....now, I hate to tell ya this, but thats a green dump truck not a blue vette. Later, Dave
