If you don't idle around a whole lot the mad efi system works well for top end. Check with Eric Simon at www.Simonmotorsports.com. He specializes in the 3.0 liter motors.

dustin-if your motor is having problems make sure you check for upgraded mercury parts while repairing it. i saw a post on here about newer coils (mercury changed design) on 2000 pm300 so i changed the coils-wires on my 99 300pm just to make sure it wont blow up.when mr. simon rebuilds motors i am sure he includes upgrades in the deal for quality control.since my motor is running well i try to do preventive maintenance.
