Hey RBT,Time-Serts thread repair kits arrived
Man these are bad to the bone ! I was so impressed with the products I ordered $300.00 worth of kits and EVERY size and length of incert that would and could be used in a Mercury OB !
Thanks for the suggestion Rob , these things makes a helicoil look like something from the "cave man" era...
Almost tempted to go out to the bone yard and strip a head bolt on a junk block and fix it. LOL.....

Jay / RBT , i must have missed your conversation about these . Are these solid stainless inserts like Volvo uses ? Or ???
Rob , where can i source them , would like to try some ?

Another Source
Another good place to find these is anybody that deals in Porsche parts. It's my understanding that these types of inserts are popular fixes for the stripped Al threads for the big cylinder studs. I think a competing brand is "Keensert".
