Race faring for Quarter shot t-4

I woukd like to replace the sun deck on my t-4 with a fairing. I called Jack, and found out that he does'nt make one. Does anyone know of a vender that might make a faring, or is there one out there from another manufacturer that could be adapted to the t-4?

I'm suprized that Jack didnt say he could make one for you .Its just fiberglass.I would try an buy one from a STV or Mirage and mold it in with glass.I was thinking about the same thing with mine.

It's not that Jack Can't!! That word is not in his vocabulary.The demand for a t-4 race fairing is like "1" so far.To design and build a plug to make a mold would take longer than laying up 3 boats.I just don't think it's demand will make it pay off.But if you want one bad enough I'll build you one for 3k.The t-3 would be the boat that making a fairing for worth the effort because more race.Even so Jack has so much work to get out he would have to build it in his sleep and he doesn't have time to sleep.LOL

BTW,what year model is your t4?

After re-reading your post do you want the fairing to cover the area the hatch covers or up to the back of the front seats.Are you going to center steering? Might be able to adapt a T-1 by cutting it down at an angle and straiten the ends.

I only want to cover the hach area that now is a sun deck.I had planed on leaving the back seat alone.

Contack RRREEVNRUDE , If I recall he made some for the HST . Proply started on as a Mirage . If he's still got his molds ,and can find the time , he could pop you one . Then you could graft it to your sundeck . Or find someone with a busted Mirage and do the same . Rich Martin 018
