Jack Barsh is da Man!!
Just wanted to say thank you to Jack Barsh at Full Throttle Powerboats for a fantastic job! I wanted to get my STV painted and have some glass work done. I got a couple of quotes by reputable shops in the area that were to say the least pretty discouraging. As I talked to more and more people, one name kept coming up- Jack Barsh.
I really did not want to make the 10-11 hour round trip, and I was not sure if the builder of quartershots would work on an STV or would have the time to work on it with all the boats he is building for everyone else. Boy was that stupid. Although we had never met and I did not own one of his boats, he treated me like I was his favorite customer and told me to bring it over he would be glad to work on it.
When I got there, he was working on a new t-4, a 36 yellowfin that hit a reef, and several other boats. here is the best part, his price was less than half of what a local shop owned by a 35 year family friend quoted. Even though I know it was a little more work than he originally thought it would be, he stuck to his word and his price without question, and did a beautiful job on my boat.
I am not a quartershot owner (although I can certainly see myself as one in the very near future), just another in a long list of people that have had a great experience with Jack Barsh and all the guys at FTP. Thanks again Jack.
yet another FTP fan,
fish

I feel the same way! Jack is without a doubt the fairest person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! Last year I needed some repairs done on my Allison and was really worried that it wouldn't look as good as I would like. Jack assured me that it would look as good as new when he finished, ordered all the gell coat and rub-rail directly from Allison and when the job was complete, it looked as good as new! Plus the repair bill was MUCH!!! less than I expected. If I ever need anything repaired again, HE'S THE MAN!!

Hes The Man For Sure. I Meant To Pm You Last Week, I Stopped By His Shop And Saw Your Boat.. It Was Truly Amazing!! My Body Man Says That I Am The Pickiest Person He's Ever Seen About Body Work And I Could not Find Where He Had Repaired It(before It Got Painted). After He Showed Me Where I Was Still Unable To Find Any Imperfections. I Always Admired His Work But After I Saw Your Boat I Had A Whole New Respect For His Talent.!
P.S. IM KINDA SCARED TO ASK BUT,,,,,, DOES THIS MEAN THAT WE WILL SEE YOU AT THE SUWANNEE???Why does everyone keep calling me Richard Noggin?? My name is George!
Just bring some aloe.....ima tan that hide.......

I'm glad you've gotten your boat back, Jody. I've heard alot about Jack Barsh and its all been glowing. It's nice to know where to go for the best.

Did you get it painted the same color??? I assume he used gelcote. Sounds like he might be a good candidate to paint my Mirage when I get ready.

thanks guys, and your right scott, he really did work his azzzz off.
Hopefully I can finish rigging it this weekend and get some pics up. 2 jobs has me kinda jumpin.
UP_ROKTOY, you are right, he does have a great rep, and as we so often see, it is hard to get one in this sport, and it only takes one unhappy customer to lose it. I have never heard one bad thing about Jack, his quality or his boats. He definitely has earned his rep by treating people the way he treated me and so many others who posted above.
