Mud or sand in low water pickup nosecone
How much trouble have you guys had clogging your low water pickup nosecones with sand and or mud??

Now it sounds to me like you need to backflush your system to make sure, & check your poppet valves as well...... it's a simple task that is commonly overlooked inexpensive in parts, but can cost you dearly, it did me once & I assure you never again if I can help it. Good luck! Peace! FIG

I have done it enough i keep a torx driver in the boat. Fast fig u want a 3 cyl omc for the sst? have 2, 15 inch 3 cyl omcs in the garage i need to get rid of.Dave
