    Rigging tube

The hole that the controls go into my engine is rectangular. Is there an adapter for the rigging tube to attach so you cant see controls. Thank Mike

Most of the round hoses provided for the wiring/cables will conform to the rectangular hole in the cowl. You got a Merc?

    tube

Yes its a 1988 200 with a 2.5 efi cowl. Should i just smush the tube and shove it in? I thought there was a cleaner way to do it.

There are adapters that are available out there. Most kitshave the transom adapters, not for the motor.
I used 2 1/4" black hose on my 260, no adapters on the motor, it conforms well to the cowl opening. once in there it fits tight and looks good.

I did this with my 300pm. it was a little snug getting it in the opening. But its never come loose and it looks clean.
