96 Merc 225 EFI spark plugs?

I'm a newbie to this site. I performed a search and didn't find the answer, so hopefully someone can help.

I know that Champion plugs are spec from Mercury but are these the best plugs to run? I have a 1996 Mercury 225 EFI, what do you suggest?

    Thanks...

    Plugs

Assuming your motor is 2.5 liter, JSRE Knows. However if your motor happens to be a 3.0 Liter, only run the Champion QL77CC. Any other plugs will interfere with the dual ECM setup of a 3.0 Liter.
