Hi tony,
I have issues with my 1995 Mercury XRI 2.5L 175Hp and it's the ECU/bad fuel pump drivers.
I've emailed you guys from the email address on your website. I'm very interested. I would like to know what kind of difference would it do on a stock motor like an Xri 2.5L?

I presume this thread has been revived because of the recent price increase announcement. While we're at it, does anyone know the answer to Sebastien68's question? I have the same motor. My mechanic told me that it's running really rich at idle, and that the only real fix is the ECU / ACU.
Thanks,
Grant

I found that the sensor that meassure the air intake temperature is a bit off compared to the original data. Even a brand new one which replaces the original one which is no longer alailable. I meassured the ohms at 21,5°C to be matching the original data at 17,5°C. This means that the ECU/ACU thinks that its colder and therefore ads more fuel, which makes it rich. I got a Brucato ACU, so I can adjust on 5 potmeters, main, accel senci, comp vol, part-thr, idle. So I lowered the main fuel and fine tuned the idle, which works for me.

Yep $1500.00 But you can buy a Power Performance Engineering one for $1350.00 newer technology vs 20 year old technology. Easier to tune as well. Plus Brendan only sells them after the one you purchased with the tune of your choice that has been on a Dyno motor. I personally saw his Proto Type at jasper last year and its was The cats Meow.

I just checked and Power Performance Engineering does not have any ECUs available for sale at this time on their site

They're still testing calibrations according to their FB page. I'm sure the first several units will go out the door for testing before they show up on the site for general consumer purchase...
