Opinions needed
Hi, everyone newbe here and was wondering which would be better to get. A jet or prop? I have 3 kids 12,16,18 and live in Shawano, Wi. Close to Shawano lake which is ok but it does have some sea weed in it. I don't have much for experince in prop boats other then trim and tilt and lower units going out and hitting things with the prop. Whats the worst thing that can happen with jets and sea weed? OUTBOARDS are out of the question!!!

jets have more clearance,but they really don't like seaweed,if it is anything like hydrilla!
