    Question Checkmate Enchanter

Looking at a mid-80's Checkmate Enchanter. The boat has a 200 Merc with Bob's nose cone/LWP. I know Checkmate in general is a rugged strong boat, but can anyone give me insight into this model? How good is this hull as a performance/ski boat and what type of performance could be expected from this combo when set up properly?

    SET BACK

Checkmates are heavy hulls and require alot of bow lift. you need at least 12" of setback to get that baby to FLY!
