Yeah I'de go for the nosecone LWP. you could even bore out the water pilot to get even better water pressure. Thats what my merc doctor did to mine.

HEY FRED, you know when you said it felt like you were on ice? thats the feeling of the boat getting out of the water. your boat has the same bottom as mine. it starts to "fly" at around 60. you just need to get over that hump and just run it wide open for a bit. you will learn how to run right through the walking and obtain a higher top speed. hell, it looks like im beating on a set of bongos when im wide open but the boat goes straight.
i am running a laserII 26P and love it. i will bet your tac is just off. 60 seems right with the power and setup. do you have a post over on the mate site?Boatless at the moment. Looking for a 24-25' V
