I won't bash, but from past ownership experience. Brad collins boats hands down, but now since those boats have been made, technology and methods of building has changed. Take a look at Triad or Full Throttles boats, they sell more per year to give you a better concept of the quality that is available. Mullins does it for more of a personal hobby than for business. It's a shame but the hull design is still a cutting edge design given the age of it. Good luck.

Too many used Mirage boats on the For Sale pages to get your thrill for speed and out of control... Want something really fast and stable, buy an STV or one of Wally's new boats. Now there is someone you can actually get a hold of and who builds a top notch hull.

Can't add much to that except to say it again....................... Wally's a first class guy who builds a first class boat. Even IF (huge if) the current Mirages are well build, and the proprieter suddenly learns a minimum amount about public relations, the STV's are still superior in design and performance in my opinion.

persoally id go either liberator or STV.. atleast you know your gettin quality..

and what is it about the name "mirage" that goes synominously with crap... there has been several other companys under that same name in the boat business selling all different types of boats, even brunswick marine, and they all turned to to crap over time...

4-16-2014. 25 years old today... the fishin boat doesnt look to bad for a classic does she

things that were are no longer as they are today...
