    mercury enertia

has anyone tried one of these props yet? I was wondering how they compare to the mirage plus in the same pitch? I'm running a 21 pitch mirage plus turning 5900-6000rpms at wot on a 250efi 3.0 merc.I would like to drop rpms a little. I can turn these rpms with 4 people and 120gallons of fuel. but I am afraid a 23p mirage plus would drop me to much.any thoughts?

go to a 21 revolution 4... will drop rp 2-300 the enertia has PNs availble in the book but no pricing as of yet, i assume no availability as of yet so but I have read on their site that it is worth about 3 mph pitch for pitch.. revs stayting the same... I would also try a 22 Bravo 1 with 1 inch vent holes...

    rev 4

I tried the rev 4 21p, but the motor lugged and bogged on take off ,but once I feathered it it took off and it did run about 3mph faster than the mirage . has anyone else experienced the lag or bog that I did? the fastest prop by far that I tried was a mazco hp4 23p it ran the same rpms but ran about 6mph faster, but didn't carry the boat as well when loaded.

pull out the PVS plugs on the revo4.. I can turn it and hold 5K on hole shot with a 150.. with plugs removed with them sealed it wont go over 2000

easiest thing to do is keep 2 sealed and have 2 wide open alternating sealed and open holes.. will cure the bog on take off and keep top end and load carrying...

The Enertia should be out now. There is a dealer in TX (CPT> Kirks that has them for sale @ a little over $400. That's what they told me about two weeks ago.

no its a 2.0 l carb motor no bog what so ever with all 4 out.. all four in it wouldnt spool up but My best setup with that revo 4 was 2 sealed 2 open.. held solid at 4100RPM throughout holeshot..

I was in the local merc dealer, PN is there but the california wharhouse shows zero pricing or availability as of thismorning.. maybe the other wherhouses have them available but they are definatly NOT available yet in the western US

sounds like you have the clasic 3.0L bog.. funny that a 2.0 L tired motor can vent that prop to 5000 with all 4 open yet the 250 cant..
