Yousif, not a bother at all.

Whatever you get, do not use a laser printer for photo printing. Laser output is the best for text, but not good for photos (yet).

I'm not too savvy on printers since most of my work does not require one. I hear great things about Canon's high-end photo printers, however.

I wish I could offer more help on that...

    Greg

thank you greg for recommending me cannon printer..
of course will buy the ink-jet.. as you said.. and will try
    to visit cannon showroom today..

greg, listen to this joke... I kept my big 400 pages album at the trunk
(back side of my car) and also i kept my jeep battery in the trunk
and when I reached the garage..I found that my car battery turn over
on my photo album and spoiled over 1000 pictures.. some of pictures has
no negative?? I lost 3 best american custom painting books...plus interior
carpet.. now I need to reprint them all?? and now I switched to ac delco
and sweared to never keep batery at the trunk...

if you just want ok prints most ink jets today do quite well. photo imaging tested a multi purpose inkjet and found it wanting. if you want a printer that yeilds prints that match the picture on the computer screen that different. the higher priced printers have more colors [6 plus]. this give you more gamit [ wider color range]. as a added benifit they accept the ICC/ICM color profiles that better photo Software use [photshop. photo elements...]. these profiles allow you to match the color thru the whole print processing. i use a cannon 8500i and epson 1270. for real good prints i have a kodak 8500 dye sub. dyesubs are only for photo prints. the 8500 came with a profile that is really quite good right out of the box.

you really get what you pay for. bear in mind that all printers only map to 300x300 dpi. the extra numbers come from putting extra ink in those dots.

    Thumbs up

    dear hsbob,

thank you for your reply dtd. 032106

what I am looking for is all-in-one ink-jet printer like
canon pixma mp 450, pixma mp500 pixma ip 6000d
or hp all in one hp 3210 & hp 2575 (ink-jet)
print, copy and sanner...also you can print from 4x6 inches
    to a4 size..

I am confused between canon and hp, as canon is great printer but
more expensive?? and hp is reasonable price with more funtion

anyway thank for your advise... will read about the printer that
    you mentioned..

    thank you
    ga

about 3 years ago i talked to a canon rep in a major office store. he told me that canon make the hp ink jets. if it has to be a multi puropse machine then get a canon with 6 or more individual colors. i would then think about saving for the kodak 1400 [$500] dye sub for great pictures. bear in mind the dye sub is not cheap at $2.10 per 8x10.
