galvanized trailer
I have a galvanized trailer that my 20 ft. bass boat sits on and it is ugly. It is a great trailer, but don't like the galvanized look. Is it possible to paint a galvanized trailer or not i have heard you can't. I'm asking because my white and red boat looks awkward on the grey trailer. I have the airgun and sander because i used to paint my jeep when i had one. Just need to know wheter it will stick to the galvanized metal.

it takes a special conversion coating to adhear paint and retain the zincs anti corosion abilities but they CAN be painted.. ( tracker, nitro, procraft all use painted Galvanized trailers) but I dont know the exact process or if it is even available to purchase since it was my understanding it was a propritory process exclusive to tracker mairne
