We have a new winner......
On the eve of the Detroit boat show, the Detroit News writes that according to the state of Michigan, the number of boat registrations in the state of Michigan is now number two in total number of boat registrations in the US. The new number one, with highest total of boat registrations in the US is now the state of Florida.

Most of the state is surrounded by water.
I think new orleans had them beat on the water issue for a few weeks!
I think everyone in new orleans should be provided with a boat by the government!
