You can buy a tongue extention that bolts on to the end of your old one. I bought a trailor with a crushed end cut a foot off and bolted 3 ft on. I got it from a loadrite dealer in De. Rick

The tongue on the trailer is 3" square tubing 1/8" wall. I recently purchased a 2ft. piece of 3 1/2" tubing 3/16" wall and a 5ft. piece of 3" tubing to slide inside of it. I have an idea in my head but don't know if it will work.

jt I am not up at the boat but will be Tuesday and I can pm you on how the 3 inch tubing is cut and where the bolts go. if I remember correct it is a little bigger and slides over and bolts in the sides and one on top. This one I got works good and I can probably get you one from work for cost but if I remember correct it is easy to duplicate. Rick
