I'll trust those Canatards at building boats, as they have 9 months a year to make them without any distractions like open water. But I'm not so sure aboot their whiskey, seems like all their eyes are too close together, must be somthin in the water.

I assume they have a ballast tank under that long 28 Tuff deck. Ballast tanks were not part of superleggara, but if the boat is light, their use of the word is correct.

Pretty cool boat, same color as my Ss2000, just super sized
    It's just Italian for superlight.

It’s a special word to a long time Aston Martin geek like me. And it’s a trademark of Touring. I have no idea if the trademark extends past automotive use

Ya, it is used extensively in automotive and outside automotive. The straight translation is just superlight though.

I did not see a price on the Tuff website. Is the price shown elsewhere? Sort of weird to sell a boat right after buying it. I prefer Toffen as a role model, keep the boat forever and repower occasionally

I just threw a number out there. I have no idea what it actually cost to build, but I can't imagine a 28 w/450R would come in much cheaper than my guess.

Regardless, I was surprised to see it for sale not long after finished knowing that they typically are built to order. Wonder why they didn't want it? By all accounts the TUFF's seem to run very well and people seem to like them. (I Love the styling of them)

Probably tacked 40 or 50% on top of what he paid for it, see if he could make some coin in this insane boat market. I can't see that boat beeing anywhere near a 6 figure number starting with a 2.

Saw a build thread on here years ago with a "carbon" boat. There were pictures of plyrot core in it. They put up some impressive numbers but I'd hope they got away from that kind of construction. Not if there really asking 250k for one.

Maybe that's maple leafs or whatever they use up there in the frozen north, not dollars.

You should start building them and selling them if that is the case. Shoot a new 22 slug of a Donzi is almost 180k.

    TJ,

You are responding to the words of unknown. The guys that complain about prices of new stuff will never be buyers of new stuff and are typically running old stuff today for a reason. Its like you and I complaining about the price of new Gulfstreams "its irrelevant because we aren't in the game". These are the same guys that don't understand the performance capabilities of new technology "its junk or overpriced to them because they have never experienced it".

Bottom line is that a 28 Tuff is killer package and they prove it with the numbers they lay down.

    Joe

Joe if I got the monthly stipend from mercury like you, I still wouldn't put that motor on anything. Even with that grossly overpriced truck engine on the back that's a $150,000 package max.

Oh I almost forgot, its got TV's in the head rest. Add 10k.

What is the going rate anyway for mercury 4 joke booster club team member?

I’ve always like the lines of their boats. Wish I could afford one some day.
