Flat black will be hot in the sun, plus the salt will show.

Would be gloss black and gray, but not set on color yet.

On a side note, got some glass cut.

Got the fresh skin down another big step, good amount of work, But thanks to GORILLA0178 on here we got it banged out in an hour or so! Next step is to order some Coosa for the transom for sure, on the fence for stringers, Coosa 15 or dcell H80? Coosa is cheaper, but id assume heavier also, 5lb vs 15lb. Not sure yet. here is some pics.

Corelite board makes great strong stringers. Think 26lb. is what I used in mine. Easy to work with. I bought 1/2 thick.

im trying to keep the weight as low as possible on this boat, its going to float a heavier engine, im leaning toward h80 due to its 5 lb density vs the 15 coosa and the 26 coosa. we are going to doubble 3/4 to make 1.5" so the floor have a nice wide surface to bond to

That's a good point making it with h80.

1.5" wide h80 will make it lighter for sure and easier with the larger area for a wider radius to get the 1700 to make the sharp turn up and over the top lay down when you cover the stringers. (If your covering your stringers this way)

Not sure but 1708 for covering the stringers (as the attached csm 3/4 oz I believe) will help make both inside and outside radius turns lay down without bubbling.

I used 1708 on my 1/2" stringers and it laid down nicely over on the radius turns. I Did filet the inside turns with thickened resin though... Took some extra rolling as the epoxy began to set to get a nice turn and covering with near 100% contact. 1/2" wide isn't much area to work with.

Great project and really nice work your doing

So heres my thought, and everything is up to discussion and change. Coosa transom,H80 for deck and stringers. Deck could be Nida core, but foam is nicer to work with. 3/4 h80 doubled up with a 1708 between them. 2x1708 on each side with overlap on top, so it'll have 4 layers on the top. Then glued into the boat, 3 staggered layers of 1708 on each side with the last layer going to the top. A couple bulkheads in between the stringers. Deck would be 3/4 h80 with 1708 on bottom and 1708 and prob a 3/4 mat on top. Top cap needs core of some kind. It should get a fresh 3/4 mat on it then core of some kind. Nida will work good or scored and scrimmed foam. Then maybe 1208 on top of whatever core is used. Theres A lot to do and things can change, but I think hes headed in the right direction.

Placed an order today for a sheet of coosa 26 3/4 and two sheets of H80 3/4 will be using coosa for transom h80 for stringers and floor.

I have to agree, and I really appreciate his time! I picked up some coosa 26 3/4 and 2 sheets of H80 3/4 today to start with.
