I was targeting a specific set of friends with my smack talk and riled them up as expected.

Been running the ocean this summer while I complete the upgrades on the Sebring.

Otherwise working to pay the man and all the S#$% I already bought!

Looking forward to seeing the Sebring run!!!!

That 21 XtSki has a standard version of the 400r, not the ROS. The last time we ran over to Catalina Island I was in a 29 NuEra with a Merc 525 and averaged around 65 mph, the 21 was right behind us the entire way and he was towing a skier!! The customer reports it'll run mid 80's on a perfect day.

Thanks for the info. That pic is very cool, I didn't realize that the Lavey XCS has what looks like a "double step" bottom. Very innovative for an American V hull, and you get a tiny cabin to boot.

I have to hand it to the Sterns crews - those guys walk the walk.

They made great time in the ocean pulling a skier.

The Sterns boat won the parker 300 enduro last year with a stock 400 on a stock hull and for sure some damm well planned out and good driving.

There are only a handful of 21 Ft boats I feel ok with going to and from Catalina in.

    22.11 for sale on CL

Found this 22.11 on craigslist last night for anyone in the market. I'm not affiliated with this party, just thought I'd share

other than the old interior looks pretty solid otherwise always hard to tell from a picture.
I remember the brothers bitching about that windscreen the cost and time to mount properly.

    Getting her back together....

    Oh she's almost together.
Now its a matter of how far I take it,
I missed the 2016 season, but she'll be ready to go on the first lake day of 2017.

Trying to figure out how much more I put into it from here -probably time to strengthen the drive and for sure a kill switch.

This thing makes more than Alexi said it would.
Its set to run on pump gas and has a knock sensor so if I put av in it it will time forward accordingly.

Agreed. Funny how you boys out West have already figured out the big Merc 400 on a 21 foot hull. Lot of innovation in that Laveycraft 21 bottom picture below for sure

    Uncle Dave,

Have had mine out several times this year, finally got a day with myself and a friend. We ran 83.9 MPH on GPS and didn't have time to get fully trimmed, due to a narrow, winding river with a known tug coming downstream at us. I'm curious to know what prop you are running? I am running a 29 pitch 4 blade that looks to have been labbed. I do have a 30 pitch four blade Bravo 1 that I am considering sending off to BBlades. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
