Question If the power grid is interuputed...

How many will survive? I need to buff up on my dooms day food...... But I can't tell you when the last time I bought tenderized steaks, ground meat, sausage... from a store.

Venosin steaks taken locally and corn ... I killed the corn too!!!

My bud just got one in the glades with a fn bow and arrow... He's a bad azz fo real....Waded thru chest deep water to set up and ambush it. Bodhi's right, nice 6 point buck here is the size of a large dog. I like some backstrap fried up fresh in the woods. You can have the rest....

Not me. Well when I get set up: Three phase gen with a 100 hp power unit and 580 gallons of diesel. That will keep the house, HVAC, and freezers running. Plus my shop!

You would like this, no wild taste. I rinse and drain the blood. Season with black pepper, garlic salt, a dusting of cumin. Roll in flower and 350 degree grease so they cook fast.

Another favorite is to cut them into strips, lather them up with cream cheese, roll them up and wrap them in bacon. Banana peppers optional, and cook them on the grill. Options for filling have been ranch dressing, shredded Mexican cheese.... etc, etc!

My venosin chill I bet you can't tell the difference!!! Stick with your moooooo cow though! I eat cow and pig too.

They run them through a cutter at the processor. They vacuum bag them too. I have some that is getting close to a year old and are not freezer burned as you can tell.

The neck on that deer IS unreal!
Cincinnatti's got some deer, like I've never seen anywhere else.
The population density is staggering. They're everywhere. Literally, everywhere. Right in the city.
Helped a buddy drag a few out of the woods last year, and probably will this year, too.
Wish I had more of a taste for them.

Some say they taste gamy but soak in milk for 2 hrs and that goes away. I simply put a small roast in crock pot slice onion clove of garlic or two and cover favorite barbecue sauce and slow cook for 6-8 or so hours and it makes a good barbecue. Pulls apart
