Looks great I can see Todd D fishing for some bigger fish in one. Motors in the tunnel any diverter in it.

Interesting, I didn't expect to see those bottom changes. When will you have a pair of 300R motors mounted on there?

That was a design point Grandpa Errol insisted on. Clean water makes for more speed and stability.

Well, Grandpa's prior ventures bode very well for this hull to be another pioneer.

I'll be following this. What are you predicting for speed?

The math has it in triple digits, but we won't know final weight until we finish rigging. Personally I see the offshore model in the high 80s fully loaded for a fishing trip, but my experience is limited to our 21s for most of my life so the 28' looks MASSIVE to me. I'm hoping a light sport deck model can run with Mike in his Carbon LCB near 120, but this run of testing will be a big learning experience for me to make better predictions. TOO early to tell.

The lineage for this hull was the 28 Cougar, right?

"The lineage for this hull was the 28 Cougar, right?"

I believe that to be correct- I wasn't aware that Errol and Steve used that mold. I was expecting to see an expanded version of the 20. It is going to be a very unique boat for fishing and/or an suv for sandbar hoping.
