    that was a holeshot. The boat had fixed trim and was very sensitive to trim. It left the water re-entered and left again.

    here are a few photos I dug up. I thought you might enjoy. This is the formula-1 v8 on a 16'-1" tunnel that weighed 385 pounds rigged without the motor. Steve Smith built the boat.

    On "Fast Fred"? Damn! I care less top speed, but its the "acceleration" me as drag racing rules! Aint how fast ya go, but how QUICK ya get there! That boat must be a REAL GRIN A PUNCH! "Seat slammer" if you will! Simple "what a ride"...............

    I'm thinking that's a 1200 SCi with E-tops, the tails on the turbos are real short. Same crew though!

    There is a vid with radar trap at the finish of a race with one doing 137mph over the line with 2 skiiers
