Another update to this build and basically calling it done. Got the interior in and the 2.5 245 on the boat and running, very fat still and working on jetting. But it did push me 94 mph last week and it has the power to pull a dead battery boat!

Yep, this 245 is a beast, good thing I had a 24 on that morning. Problem was we had a very short rope and after awhile it started darting all over across the wake so ended up having to slow down. Had to change boats as well to tow it as this ate up my fuel to where I almost ran out! I think it went through about 5 gallons in about 5 minutes! haha. I also had this guy in tow...

It came with the boat when i bought it. The previous owner said he got it from a place in CA back in early 2000. I will see if i have the receipt but I assume not being sold anymore.

Thanks, I saw earlier you mentioned Allison seats and I thought if theres an Allison seat that fits the rear that well Im officially searching LOL. Not to worry if its custom I may use that for inspiration though. Can hardly wait to put one of these V-kings together, enjoy running it!

I have some Allison front buckets to replace this Hydrostream interior as both of those Allison seats weigh less than one of the front Hydrostream seats.

This hull has not seen any wax or anything since early 2000's I am guessing. I have never done it, but dang. The spray and wipe worked well, not sure how long it will last but it only took about 10 minutes.

And I couldn't help myself when I saw Diamond Marine selling these a few months ago. It most likely doesn't do chit for speed or performance, but looks good!

Damn for a quick 10 minutes looks nice even if it lasts a week.. takes longer to clean it.
If you were to buff and wax it it would take how long...firca quick shine definitely worth it

whats that carbon looking skin on your splashwell, I like the idea of that for climbing in and out the water. How does it stick and would it hold up over time?

Just a cheap decal that my buddy gave me from his work. Something like the link below. I am very surprised how well it has stayed actually. Sooner or later I will match the gel but not sure when so this was the quick route!
